Staffing and it's requirements.
STAFF training
o Staff training is 1 week long involving, first aid/CPR training, team building, how to deal with all situations and conflict resolution, also learning name games and time filler games. Becoming aware of the areas which would involve going through all the activities the kids will be doing
* Equipment needed: American red cross instructor, supplies for team building games, food, water
· STAFF members
o Executive Directors/ Owners(6) Josh, Cori, Shane, Nathan, Dave, Kevin
** Secretary (1)- deals with office management, phones, applications, registration, ordering supplies for all programs at the camp, coordinators must communicate what they need and secretary will get it ordered
** Program director (1)- deals with the residential
* Health Administrator/ nurse(1)- deals with illness, injury
* Counselors (18) - 1 counselor/8 back country, 1 counselor/ 12 residential campers. Counselors are in charge or the children directly, making sure things run on time and smoothly, keep kids happy, entertained and safe. Counselors going on the INTENSE CAMPING trip must have previous experience in back country
* High/low ropes specialists-(2)-specializes in high and low ropes
* Lifeguard(2-3)- saves lives
* Intense explorers Coordinator(1)-over sees all the activities that the high school campers will be doing
* Wilderness Explorer Coordinator(1)- over sees the activities that the younger groups will be doing
* IN-TENTS CAMPING coordinator(2)- over sees the 5 day hiking trip
* Arts and crafts coordinator(1)- orders supplies, and coordinates which crafts will be done at what times
* Water front coordinator(1)- in charge of life guards and water activities
* Head chef(1)- in charge of kitchen staff, and organizing meals for each day
· Kitchen workers(3)- helps head chef to make the meals, also cleans mess hall
* Maintenance crew/grounds keepers(2)- takes care of mechanical issues, or things that need to be fixed, also mowing grass, keeps things running properly
