In-Tents Camping’s Mission
The mission of In-Tents Camping is to enrich the emotional, physical, and social life of each camper in a safe and engaging environment. We strive to help campers discover themselves, their abilities, and potential while experiencing day to day outdoor living emphasizing character, commitment, caring, respect, friendship, and generosity. Each camper should leave with a greater sense of self reliance, self-worth, and self-confidence.
Core Product- The core product of our facility is the outdoor living and camping experience. Our prized program is the In-Tents Camping Program for which our facility is named.
IN-TENTS CAMPING ADVENTURE!
· 5 day 4 night camping trip
Expiditions in the Flathead National Forest for kids ages 14-18 years of age. Will have the opportunity to help plan where we are going, what food and supplies we should need. The kids will be able to see how much planning goes into a back packing trip.
Core product extensions:
· The core product extensions will consist of personal camping that can be purchased at the gift shop including gear such as: rain gear, cooking fuel, pocket knives, hats, sunscreen, gloves, sunglasses, and fire starters.
· Also to supplement the program
o High ropes course
o Canoes
o Kayaks
o Water sports
Financial Goals:
· Short Term: To be able to operate on profits alone and without loans or donations within 3 years.
· Mid-Range: To pay back debts within 5 years
· Long Term: To generate steady profit and increase revenue by 5% each year
Goals for Participants:
· To experience outdoor living while at camp
· To learn new skills suck as pitching tents and starting camp fires
· To discover personal abilities while on outings and overcome fears
· To create friendships and learn teambuilding skills that participants will benefit from during camp and in the future
· To gain a better understanding and respect for nature by the end of the program by learning about the dangers of the wilderness
Goals for Employees:
· To facilitate a positive participant experience while camping through team building and friendship
· To learn from participants about their interests and perceived abilities prior to departing for the expeditions.
· To improve knowledge in outdoor skills and the environment through experiences while employed by In-Tents Camping
· To create a positive working environment with other employees and participants by striving to strengthen relationships while at work

- To keep and maintain the highest level of rescue kits and medical kits, as well as.
- keeping all employees up to date with all of the medical levels to keep the kids safe.

- To be aware of the environment and our surroundings.
- Preserve the environment for the use and view of future campers.
Goals for accessibility/inclusion
- To keep up with the ADA standards for all of our facilities.
- To provide programs that supports kids with disabilities.

- To keep employees up to date with their certifications.
- Give campers a meaningful experience of a lifetime.
